But when my parent's 50th anniversary was bearing down on me, I hated my chewed off stumps. Of course I knew it was coming months in advance, but I couldn't stop chewing. Don't judge....I could take up alcohol....
So I got the gel tips with shellac polish and I fell in love. My nails looked fab! I was hooked...I've been going ever since.
Last night whilst I was being filed and glued (I'd say nailed but that pun is too obvious) an older lady came to sit by me...she was next. I kind of laughed and moved on and paid. But I got to thinking (and yes I was driving at the same time so let that be a warning to you) how sad. Let go a little, live!!! Color outside the lines, wear purple and put money green magnetic polish on your nails - WTH??? You only live once and it's removeable so not like you're going to the grave with it!!! Have fun, be the center of attention (without dancing on the table tops, drunk and flashing your muffin top to God and everybody) enjoy - dance like nobody is watching (just not on the table, see above?) !!!
I for one will be going to my grave with the flashiest nails I can find!!! and bury me in some hooker heels and a short skirt! Give me big 80's hairdo to match!
And I did not realize the implications of this meeting and the deep thoughts I had whilst (I am loving whilst today) driving....until the next day which I will post more on later.
