I was blogging using Yahoo 360, but only 2 people ever read it. I'm not sure most of you would be interested anyhow.....but here it goes. You can log on when you want too!
Ya'll know me, so I don't need to go into that! ha. Mostly you will read about Alex because he always has the most drama!
We had Alex's behaviorial eval on Thursday. Alex performed nicely (is that an oxymoron?). He did his growling, ignoring us and some self stim behaviors. He even managed to have a blow out pull up, in which mommy and daddy had NOTHING with them.... so had to borrow clothes from the clinic! (the kid even pooped on his shoes!).So now we fill out a bunch of forms, the teacher fills out a bunch of forms and this guy (who is the chair of the dept) will give Alex's case to whom he feels will best meet Alex's needs. He mention medication as an option. He told us we are doing the right thing and addressing this now because it's only going to progress. It was kind of frightening when he said "I noticed he doesn't look at you when you ask him to do something" Of course Autism comes to mind. Guess we'll see as we go along! He also said he feels that Alex will never have much for speech. Very disheartening, because he's really very smart he just can't express it.
Above is a pic of Halloween. The cowboy quickly shed his pony though! We didn't like the straps! It was a cold night, but clear and calm. Alex enjoyed ringing the doorbell and also entering a house if a dog was present! ha. Jenny mostly complained about walking and the cold!
