I just found out my cousin has cancer

I was sure hoping and praying the tumor they found was benign. It's not. It's Hodgkins Lymphoma. They're doing some more testing to determine if the cancer has spread and they'll be starting chemo very soon. The tumor is inoperable, due to it's proximity to his thorax.

I hate cancer. It seems to strike the most undeserving of people.

Life has not been easy nor fair to Matt, from his premature birth on. Looks like life is throwing him another curve ball. If any of you could spare a prayer tonight, I know he'd appreciate it. I do too.

Rhonda - my brother had Hodgkins when he was about 20, and went through radiation and such. I know there are several subtypes, and the type he had was very curable. I hope this will be the case with your cousin. He went through about 10 months of treatments and is totally cured, no recurrance, and he's 46 now... I hope that is what happens for Matt. I will keep him in my prayers.
