We heard back from the director of SPED and she's kicking back our request to the IEP team. This really gives me hope that Alex can remain at his old school.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but Alex's favorite teachers (and mine) are on his IEP team, so there is some hope!
For those of you who missed my I'm mad as hell posts... I went on about this subject too... LOL! We were devastated by the news that they were moving Alex to a different school. He has worked so hard to get where he is and alot of has been because of his wonderful teacher and paras and the consistency they provide. We would be starting over if he had to move.
So if you don't mind a prayer or two... or crossing your fingers and toes, whichever works best for you, we would appreciate it!
Happy Easter!

Oh! I hope this works out for you! That would be fabulous!
All I have to say about it is to just trust God that it will work out. I went through this a couple years ago only to find out that Gabi did SOOOOOOOOO much better in the new school! I adore her new school and her new teacher. Although she isn't exactly new anymore! I was terrified before and was even in tears! Of course, I am sure it didn't help that I was pregnant with Preston at the time either. But eventually, I just prayed to God and told him I trust him in this process. And He didn't fail me!
I will say a prayer for you guys, too!
You've got all my prayers, as Alex should stay at his school and I believe that he has all the right people fighting for him [especially his Momma!]
