What a week!

Seems like a lot can happen in a week. Tornados, floods, deaths....

Omaha has seen it share of storms this week. Two tornados were pretty damaging to property only, which is a relief. Then to follow, a tornado claims the lives of 3 Omaha Boy Scouts and one Iowan. So sudden, so young, so promising. There were flash floods in surrounding areas and of course we pray for those in Iowa right now.

Then nationally, the shocking death of Tim Russert. I lay no claim to being anywhere near interested in politics, but dang if I didn't stop to listen to Tim. I will miss him. He was strong, smart family guy... who just happened to have a gig on TV. I felt like I knew him... didn't you?

Prayers to everyone who has lost a loved one this week... Fathers who have lost sons and sons who have lost fathers.
