The sunflowers in Nebraska right now are gorgeous!!!! Yes to all the farmers, they are weeds... unless of course they're growing them for crops!!! There's nothing prettier than a field of sunflowers!
We had tons of rain at the right time this year to cause them to bloom so beautifully. I wish I had planted some myself, but I am enjoying them all around the corn fields and ditches!!!

Wow, that sounds amazing! I love sunflowers. Here in Central Texas, our pretty weed arrive in the spring and we cherish our precious bluebonnets. It must really feel like Fall up there.

I did want to say that I fully understand.
I had actually posted the night before that I was leaving the board because the whole tone and focus was not why I was a member of the community. It was as you saw it, for me too.
So I had decided that since it was brought up more than once.....but ignored, I was just going to do what I do this time of year. Stick to reading reputable news sources, stay away from the blather of the Internet and TV. I deleted my post, as I just figured I'd slip away and return toward the holidays to share in the joy of the season....but called out on my deleting. I'm glad M romoved my delete as I just did not want to be a part of it...
My dear, please know that I cherish you as a friend. I was fully aware of the times of struggle for you and the absense of support from others. That is why I come here to leave you notes.
Sometimes when the circle is too big....the little ripples seem to get lost in the flow of the whole.

I am sorry that you felt the need to leave. I just did not understand, when to me I was so clearly trying to present both sides, I was being jumped on by you and Shawn. As I said I have felt many times that you have tried to let me know that you did not like me and I have never understood why, and felt it was a good time to ask about it.
Many people are saddened by your decision. I hope you will reconsider and come back.
