I have to go to Dallas on business in March, so I'm staying over and Steve is going to join me! We're excited to have a weekend away. Grandma is going to come babysit!! Hopefully the weather will hold out for us. We'd be excited to see temps in the high 40's! LOL I emailed my old online friend, Judy to see if she can meet up on that Thursday night, as I will be all alone. I would love to meet the dynamic duo - Sam and Patrick!
Alex seems to be trying to come down with some upper respitory thing. The flu is running rampant in Nebraska, so hoping his shot will stave that off. He got Influenza A two years ago even though he had the shot. He starts IV IG again on Thursday.
We're to have warmer weather this week. Maybe even sneak into the 40's. We are breaking out the flip flops and tube tops I tell ya! Forty is a huge improvement over -29 windchills, lemme tell ya!

ha ha... it did work.. OK, now for the post that I wrote before...
I am soooooo ready for warmer weather too... this deep freeze is just not fun anymore! (Ha ha).
And... as for snow days... there really is nothing like hunkering down in warm, fleece comfy clothes, getting some hot chocolate and watching a movie in the middle of the afternoon! I love them! We haven't had one this year - I think we're due.
